Pickleball-A-Thon Charity Tournament

WE’RE PLAYING & FUNDRAISING FOR THE KIDS!

The Kiwanis Club of Aurora and Fox Valley Park Foundation are hosting the 2nd annual Pickleball-A-Thon Charity Tournament to help local kids. Donations will directly support our programs to benefit underserved children and build a healthy community one child at a time. Your support will help more kids learn to swim, go to summer camp, receive a warm coat, enriching books to read and nourishing food to stay healthy. HELP US PUT SMILES ON THEIR FACES!

PICKLEBALL COMPETITION INFORMATION

Event Agenda and 1st Round Match Times: Detailed information and 1st Round Match Times will be emailed to players on July 17 and is below.

Street parking will be available around Hupp Park, 2390 W. Illinois Ave, Aurora. Refreshments, sport drinks and water will be available to players.

7 A.M. – Participant check-in opens. Receive your tournament T-Shirt. Warm-up practice will be available.

7:45 A.M. – Welcoming remarks, sponsor recognition and national anthem.

8 A.M. – Brackets start

1st Round Match Times
8 a.m. – Men’s Recreational
8 a.m. -Women’s Recreational
8 a.m. -Men’s Competitive
10 a.m. – Women’s Competitive
11 a.m. – Mixed Recreational
11:30 a.m. -Mixed Competitive

2:30 P.M. – Estimated completion of all Brackets, Awards and Raffle Drawing

Compass Draw tournament with 6 divisions of doubles teams. 8 teams per division. 3 matches guaranteed. Players age 18 and above.

$100 Team Registration Donation. Registration donations are non-refundable. Includes: 3 Matches guaranteed, Swag bag, Refreshments for players, Great prizes for division winners.

Players call their own games. Players bring their own equipment. We will provide tournament balls for play.

CASH RAFFLE INFORMATION

Raffle Tickets are available for $20 each. They can be purchased online during Team Registration (below), from a Kiwanis Club of Aurora member or at the event. Cash prizes are $500 (1), $200 (1) and $100 (3). The winning tickets will be drawn at the end of the tournament on July 20. The winners do not need to be present to win.
